Presentation: P02014 Session: Imaging Technologies - Poster SessionAhmad Yekta, Zahra Masoumi, Richard McKay and Joseph Masino, GE Healthcare Presenting Author: Ahmad Yekta, GE Healthcare - USA The quality of data from high content cellular screening depends on four important groups of factors: sample biology and preparation, sample plate type, image acquisition system and image analysis. At GE Healthcare, the Instrument Development Group is particularly interested in understanding features that affect image quality. This will enable us to quantify the effect of various system parameters on assay data quality and improve system design and performance. In this work we utilize an NFkB-GFP nuclear translocation assay imaged with the IN Cell Analyzer. By varying image qualities such as uniformity, signal/noise, contrast and blur, we are able to investigate the influence of each parameter on the quality of end-result data, as measured by assay Z' or S/N. |
