The Society for Biomolecular Sciences, now in its 16th year, is the only international non-profit scientific society exclusively dedicated to advancing the science of drug discovery and related disciplines through education and information exchange among professionals in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech, and agrochemical industries globally.

The society offers its 1,800 members a variety of publications and programs, most notably the Journal of Biomolecular Screening, a highly regarded, peer-reviewed resource for new research, indexed in Index Medicus. Journal articles emphasize scientific and technical applications and advances in the field of high-throughput screening and other drug-discovery technologies.

The cornerstone of the society’s educational efforts is the highly-rated1 Annual Conference & Exhibition. The only non-profit scientific and industry conference focusing on molecular and cellular screening, the SBS conference brings together leading scientists from industry, government and academia to present new research and information. This premier meeting attracts more than 1,700 drug- discovery professionals, 80 speakers, 285 posters, and 150 exhibiting companies.
