SBS Beer Brewing Competition
What do George Washington and Thomas Jefferson have in common with the ancient Babylonians? Probably not much … except they all brewed beer.
Since the dawn of history, people have been enjoying beer. And now, you have the chance to make SBS history with your own beer. We’ll be choosing the Official Brew Master of SBS at the
2008 Annual Conference & Exposition.
To become eligible for the title of Official Brew Master of SBS, simply fill out the registration form at http://www.sbsonline.org/beerbrewing/ and submit it by February 29th. Then send in your home-brewed
beer for judging and award presentation in St. Louis.
The Grand Prize for Best Overall Brew will be a trip for two, including airfare and hotel for two nights, to the 2008 Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. First runner up will receive
their choice of either a GPS system or a Bose QC-2 Noise Canceling headset. The second runner up will receive a digital picture frame.
If you’re not a brewer, you can still get in on the fun in our label/slogan competition. Design a label and write a slogan for the SBS Official Brew and enter the contest. The creator of the
label/slogan voted best by conference participants will win their choice of either a GPS system or Bose QC-2 Noise Canceling headset.
For more details, go to www.sbsonline.org/beerbrewing/ or contact Karen Costanzo at kcostanzo@sbsonline.org or 203-743-1336.
