There are only a few weeks left to submit your abstract for oral presentation. The final submission date is November

Award Winners Announced for St. Louis Presentations
The SBS 14th Annual Conference & Exhibition will feature the presentation of the SBS Achievement Award to Dr. Tadataka Yamada in recognition of his many contributions to drug
discovery. Dr. Tadataka (Tachi) is President of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Global Health Program. In this capacity, he oversees grants totaling more than $6 billion for programs
directed at applying technologies to address major health challenges of the developing world, including TB, HIV, malaria and other infectious diseases, malnutrition and maternal and child health.
Receiving this year's Accomplishment Award is Dr. Peter Ramm, President of Invicta Research, Inc. for his seminal work in support of the biomolecular sciences. This includes his contributions
to imaging research, and the development of software utilized in analysis for genome arrays and cell based imaging systems.
The innovators of CellKey, of MDS Sciex, will receive the 2008 SBS PolyPops Award. These award winners include: Vivian Liu, Chris Fuller, Eric Nehlrich, and Simon Pitchford.
