Announcing the 2nd Joint SBS/ELRIG Conference in Bournemouth

SBS/ELRIG Conference: Drug Discovery 2008
BOURNEMOUTH INTERNATIONAL CENTRE, UK
September 23-24, 2008
Following a highly successful meeting in 2007, SBS and the European Laboratory Robotics Interest Group (ELRIG) will once again co-sponsor what promises to be the leading drug-discovery conference in Europe in 2008. The two-day conference will encompass six sessions, each focusing on a different area of drug discovery. Topics include selecting compounds for the corporate collection, liquid handling and detection technologies, plus advances in assay development and screening. Two sessions will address the biochemistry of two important different target classes: enzymes and G-protein coupled receptors. Biopharmaceuticals will form the sixth session. The scientific sessions will be complemented by plenary keynote presentations from two of the field’s foremost researchers, a poster session, and a vendor exhibition with more than 80 exhibitors.
