I am the holder of a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Sherbrooke (Emanuel Escher - Pharmacology). From 1993 to 1996, I have carried out postdoctoral research
activities in Neuroendocrinology at Laval University (Therese DiPaolo - Molecular Endocrinology) and at Duke University (Marc G. Caron - Cell Biology). I then joined BioSignal (now PerkinElmer)
in 1996 as a group leader responsible for developing the G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs) pipeline. I have also leaded a team responsible of developing the AlphaScreen platform until January
1996. During this time, the team of scientists under my supervision developed a wide diversity of AlphaScreen reagents and produced a variety of custom tailored high throughput screening assays
for both industrial and academic customers. I have recently joined the Molecular Medicine Business team as a Technology and Business Development Manager. I had the privilege of co-chairing
the scientific program with Dr. Robert Ames (GSK) during the last SBS meeting held in Montreal in April 2007.
